Sorry boys, it is a T bucket with a sbc dual quad cross flow intake and jag rear end. Joe is detailing the car for the cruise circuit. It came in last fall. He's not even sure on the discplacement, notice the oil fill tube on the intake. I thought it might be a 302 with that carb set up. He bought it in Penetang ON, put it on the trailer and then drove it off the trailer into the shop.
Last week he was calling the MTO to find out if he had to instal from brakes. The answer was you must have brakes on one axle but you must have two seperate systems. Car qualifies, it has a drive shaft cable operated emergency disc brake if you can belive it.
There is a BBC dual quad T bucket in the shop as well....

Ever since "77 Sunset Strip" I have loved T-buckets, before I bought my 56 CP I looked at one, very nicely done, but (1) I am too tall to fit in it comfortably (no leg room, you have to sit kind of folded up) and (2) actually a little scary being so little car around you when driving (and I am normally fearless on road or track).
Those Jag rears are sure sexy, though.

That brings back memorys, had a T Bucket in the 70's got stopped all the time by the same cop for "no Fenders & no Front brakes!! Would go to court for the first few tickets & beat the charges, not raining at time of ticket & 2 separate braking systems to at "least 2 wheels {foot brake & emmergancy to back axle] after that just went to his station & Sgt. came out to look at car, show him past court rulings, & he'd stamp the ticket VOID, this went on all summer of one year, then it stopped the next yr. Someone must have had a talk with the cop!!!
