You mentioned the officiating. It never ceases to amaze me how during the playoffs the level of play is highly elevated yet the level of officiating deteriorates.

Perhaps your theory has some merit. It would sure upset Bettman's apple cart if Washington's #8 wasn't playing.

These diving calls on Montreal were a complete and utter fabrication imo.

Dad and I were watching it and couldn't believe Halaks play! Yes, the officaiting sucked. BIG TIME! I never knew Lord Stanley was supposed to live in the U.S.!!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! GO HABS GO!!!! We need George back, 2 game, 2 dirty hits on Montreal defence! Somebody run Crosby, put him out for the rest of the series, then skate by the bench and tell them Malkin's next, then Fleury, etc.... You have to protect and stand up for yor teamates! I say bring up a goon for the next game, opening face off, don't even let Sid get his hands up, crosscheck to the face, and then start punching!!! Old tyme hockey I say!

No. Just p*&&%s me off! Cheap shot artists always seem to get away with it! They run our guys, run theirs! Back when I played, I took no crap. As a goalie, I led the league in pim's for 3 years in a row. Got suspended for using my blocker on a guys face(no shield) after he ran me. Sat on his chest and made a real mess of him I think I got 3 months total for that. He NEVER came near me again. I made Billy Smith look like a saint.

caught the last 1/2 of the game.from what I saw refereeing was way out to lunch on a couple calls,whats going on nowadays................! Halak was good as well.
Dont really like either team,but got to route for mtl.,did I just print that ??? SLAP !
