We had a Prius towed in today. It wouldn't run. The back bumper was covered in all sorts of "save the animal" bumper stickers. Long story short- guess what caused it to quit? A mouse chewed through all the fuel injection wiring!

you Know they can read, put out a perfect up for rent sign
I'm looking for a Toyota emblem for our go cart. Last night one of the wires broke off the kill switch on the cart, unknown to any of us. It has not brakes to begin with. Our daughter came cruising up to the house, hit the kill switch to stop like she always does and it just kept going, right into the outside wall of the garage!!!
Sorry for just one more chuckle at the expense of Toyota!!!

I don'tthink this is particularily funny but daughters boyfriend just graduated UofT Engineering and he got a job at Enbridge, well he goes out and buys a 2010 Camary SE, nice looking car in black with black guts, chrome wheels with dual chrome tail pipes. I think he said it has 179 HP. Anyway he tells me it is the only Toyota that did not get a recall because it has special pedals, drilled aluminum and they didn't get stuck.
I had a customer with an Echo with 608000 on it last week. Back when I was at the GM dealer a customer came in all upset accusing us of eating a hamburger while working on his car. Confused, I walked out with the customer and popped the hood on his car. Sure enough, there was a piece of a cheeseburger melted on top of the engine. Further investigation revealed a mouse nest down under the air box. The customer was pretty embarrased!
I retired my Venture a couple of years ago with 340,000 km on it. The intake manifold gasket finally went when I was towing a tandem axle trailer down the Alaska highway.
A friend of mine has a 93 Dodge B van with over 700000 on the orig 318. The engine has never been opened. Still has the original O2 sensors and still passes etest!

a teacher in high school had a mid 1970's buick century with 500,000 miles-heads had never been pulled----that was back when everyone thought 100,000 miles was a lot !
Of course rodentia of all kinds love cars to live in! If they're good enough for some PEOPLE to live in, then why not them? Another thing, there's lots for them to eat and make nests and there's always the blower motor for the heater as an exercise wheel! LOL!
