That might work. My wife mentioned having a party celebrating our wedding that day but then I think she talked about moving it ahead a week or two. I'll talk to her and find out for sure...

May 29th would work for me. I would hate to blow off a stag and doe. As last year, the motorhome O.K? Kids? ****tails? Drinks? Booze? ( Ya see the theme I'm going with here?)

Like anything else, it is just best to set a date and those that can't make it can't. Speaking from experieince last year, we had a very nice day and one of the few car gigs my wife attended she really enjoyed meeting everyone and the fun trip through a nice part of Ontario. She is still surprised by the old Poncho and how comfortable it actually was up and back and it rained like heck most of the way home too.

You might find it useful to meet the guys ASAP. If they like you, they will help you.

Repeat after me; Help is good. Car guys are cool. I want to learn.

OK, I checked the wifes schedule and she works all those days.  But when a date is set, I will see what I can arrange!!!!  AS a co-pilot do I get to wear a fighter pilots helmet, and have radio conversations with the pilot?????

You better bring a gas mask because last time I followed that car the smoke coming from it was so bad I could hardly see or breath.......of course it was tire smoke!

No problem for smoke now     the co-pilot strattles the rear hump and keeps his head down  and  prays a lot...

I think we would lose the personal aspect of a Poncho get together at Plunkett's, there will probably be more than 2500 cars. I don't think you would be allowed to bbq there and the one I have isn't portable. It's not what I had in mind but I am only one voice.

Is this portable enough??

!cid_CAF77F2ECDFF4EB2892A39AC316AE758@MichaelPC.jpg

The operational manual is fairly thick with no illustrations...........is that a problem??
Also powered by Dodge, wouldn't start when you needed it.frustrated.gif

So........if I could be of assistance, I will bring my BBQ in the back of my Chevrolet.
No manual with this one.below.gif

Plunkett's wknd. is out for me & I agree, wouldn't work anyway, as too many people there & you would never get all the members in one spot, unless they all waited outside & came in together?? That's my West Virginia wknd. to the FOP show, this will make 5yrs straight for attendance!!!!

Sorry guys. Our wedding party is still on the 13th. I suspect I'd be in BIG trouble if I didn't show up for it. Maybe next year..cry

 Chris
June 13th works for me. How are we to get the funds to you or just pay that day?
Do you have a map or directions on how to get to your house?
Again if you need any help let me know. I am probably one of the closest to you so I can be there early to help you get things ready.  Just let me know.
 Brad

Hey Brad glad you will make it, people can pay when they arrive I just need to know how many are coming for buying enough food. Directions are to follow, but it's easy to find our place as I am on highway 6 & 10, east side of the road just north of Chatsworth.

FYI for all attending. I spoke with Todd and he agreed to have some Canadian Poncho items at the spring BBQ. Even though Todd can't make it this time it is nice to have some items available for the members that can make it. There is no shipping but the items will be available immediately. PST will still apply to the items.
If anyone has any special request for items they would like to pick up that day you can contact Todd via PM and he will make sure your items are there to pick up.
