RE: Looking for a daily driver convertible under 10k

a guy I work with has this 1995 Z28 convertible, LT1 5.7 liter, auto, leather-it just turned 90,000 kms, he's owned it since 1998 -no winters-asking $12,000 he told me $10,000 will do it

Ooh, I (oops I mean my wife) could get into that! I wonder how it would handle in the snow?wink

Does he have any other photos?

Thanks
Todd

Well, we found Connie a convertible:

It's a 2000 Mustang, V6, Auto, pretty much loaded. Ran and drove very well. 95000kms. No winters. Left a deposit. Hopefully I can beg or borrow a dealer plate from work or from Earl and bring it home tomorrow night..

Thanks to everyone for all the leads.

Todd

Change of plans.. Connie changed her mind (something about a woman's prerogative). She wants a convertible with a bigger back seat. Sometimes she drives her dad and another fellow to dialysis and things the Mustang will be too small. Back to the drawing board. She said something about wanting a BMW 3 series. Anyone know if they are any good- say late 90's?

I think she'll be sorry-Mustang is a comfortable car, cheap to repair and easy to sell when your ready. My wife had a 99 mustang coupe for a little over a year carting around my two sons with car seats in there-it did the job, they aren't the best in the winter but---

Todd-if she is not going to buy it can you share how much that car might cost ?

Mike has a couple poor pictures of the Z28-I could take more for you but I doubt it'll work based on the backseat room--honestly I say buy the mustang-every woman likes a mustang

 sounds like good value

Sebrings are well liked by women also-it'll be better in the winter, the one down the street is now at a car lot in Port Colborne-I think its $7900 now  be patient there will be lots and the market is weak after the first few buyers pick up what they want

There are quite a few for sale. I need one with a service history that I can verify as those 2.7's blew up if the oil wasn't changed every 5 k.
