I'd like it for a summer soccer car. (2 kids, different ages, 4 nights a week coaching, TIREING! Did I spell that right?) To much $$ for a 4 door car that needs body and paint.IMO.

Agreed. It's a very cool car but it could be a tough sell in this market for one that is likely needing rust repair by the sound of it.  Especially when our dollar is where it is against the US dollar.

Something tells me I've seen this car before.   Isn't this the one that Allan bought at the auction in Langdon about 8 years ago?

Allen didn't have the 4 x 4 option. Also I thought it was light blue!!

nope, it was dark blue.  And he put the Pontiac red center hubcaps on it, someone must have removed them so now it's steel wheels.   Looks like the upholstery has been redone, and engine compartment detailed.

I THINK I LOOKED AT THIS CAR 8-9 YEARS AGO. IF IT IS THE SAME CAR ,IT WAS MISSING THE VIN TAG...NOT SURE IF THAT IS A ISSUE, BUT IT MADE ME LOSE INTEREST IN A HURRY.

If you look at the pictures in the ad, there is no vin tag on the door jamb.

You got to ask yourself why would some one take the vin number of a car. If thats the case. One to walk away from for sure.

Bingo.   Not sure how it's a #'s matching car when the VIN is missing.  The gent I referred to above had the RCMP issue a new VIN tag, they just used the VIN from the documentation and added AB in front of it.  If I recall, the new VIN tag is on the pillar between the drivers side doors, down towards the front sill plate.

could have been a theft recovery at some point or an exwife/husband pulled it off-if the RCMP issued a province of Alberta one theres nothing to worry about unless collector value has a play in this--

If I were the seller I think I would mention that right away in the ad. People who see it missing in the pics may not even bother calling. People who show up and see it missing may be pretty upset. Best to state up front it has a new VIN issued and get it out in the open right away.
