Waterdown swap meet May 29-30

I may be in Toronto May 26-28. I was thinking of staying over the weekend to attend the Waterdown swap meet on the 29th. I was at the fall event back about 1993 and it seemed fairly large then. I was also there in the spring of 2003 or '04. There were lots of cars in the show field and a few for sale, but the swap meet seemed smaller than when I was there in '93.

I'm interested in whether this is a meet I should attend; and whether there's anything else in Ontario on that weekend that I should take in.

Also considering taking in the Bothwell show in August; either that or the Ames Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio that same weekend. Appreciate any advice from members in Ontario on both the Waterdown and Bothwell meets.  And on the Pontiac Nationals.

The Waterdown Car Show &Swap Meet is usually a good show, especially if the sun is shining. The Swap Meet usually takes about 3 hrs. to walk through and then the car show to view. The nice thing about the car show is you get a totally different group of cars on day 2.

If you have not been in a few years, it has moved north up the road a few km.

I use to frequent most of the swap meets 10-15 years ago and always found Waterdown to be a descent meet/show, bit of a coin toss as what you would find in the venders area. As Chris said, if the sun is out, there's a steady stream of cars/peeps heading into the show.
Ancaster has been a large/quality meet, vast array of parts you just don't find. I gathered up some buddies for a early morning start to a meet there, we showed up and the only signs of life where the birds flying around. I was sure I had the date right, but I was also assured I would be buying breakfast.
Jmo and definitely dated opinion. All these events have moved to larger venues as you probably know.
I've never made an effort to make it to Bothwell, but sounds like a popular meet from what I've heard over the years.

The Pontiac show in Norwalk would be something to check out for sure. I attended a Super Chevy Show years back, there was over 300 cars just to get down the track. I bet there would be some rare and cool built Ponchos out from under there covers.

Should post that question as a new thread, I don't have a clue, I moved north and don't follow the events any more.

Arcadian seems to be the guru with dates.
