RE: winnipeg- swap meet MCAAC this sunday may 16 2010 red river ex grounds

The green 58 belongs to my neighbor. He's more a rat rod kinda guy, 35 Ford coupe, building a T coupe. 58 was his Dad's, I think he got it in the early 60's. Something happened to the 283 back along time ago and it was pulled. Car sat for oh 20 years or so and he got it back together a couple of years ago. The push was on to get it running again for his dad. Not sure if he was able to take his dad for a ride before he passed away.

Ahhhh.... So your the fellow who just recently took delivery of the latest Auto Resurrection (http://www.autoresurrection.ca/) project right?

I met with Ralph two weekends ago and discussed my plans to get my 67 Canso completely stripped, body work done and paint. I gotta get the car to a rolling shell with only glass and door handles. You pay for his attention to detail but it's worth knowing it's done right.

He forwarded pictures of your car to me as an example of their work. I was wondering if your poncho would end up on this site! I'd love to have a closer look at your car before assembly gets underway. Let me know if I could have a look sometime and talk briefly about your experience with the shop.

me and my son were there, we were the guys holding the 64 parisienne grills, it's amazing how recognizable the grills are, I had several guys call out that they had parts at home, I got a few numbers.
