I owned this car about 20 years ago and bought it from the original owner. Its been sitting for most of those years under a tree where I see those pictures were taken. I've watched it for years and I think I mentioned it here a year or so ago. It had one option; the automatic transmission. It didn't even have a side view mirror and it had a block off plate over the radio. I still have the new Laurentian signs I bought from GM for it. This car had 52,000 original miles on it when I bought it and it drove like new. Tan on tan and the perfect 409 car to clone. I have too many cars to take it on however if the car is in descent shape now, regardless of being parked over dirt, it is really reasonable for what it was. Its worth nothing as a 6 cyl. car however it would make a great sleeper with a 409, or any big block for that matter. The frame was good when I had it however the frost may have gotten to it now. Great car and I hope someone will do something with it.

sad to see a decent car left to rot by a careless 'owner'
we're really just caretakers, we own nothing forever.

Nothing gets me shaking my head more than the guys who always say that they are going to restore it one day while decades pass and they never move the car, never cover it and generally let it rot. Even my good friend Hillar did this with his Bonneville. We have a 68 Acadian 307 4 dr. car in our area, same story. I told Henry I'd take it off his hands last week, but "he's going to restore it" Been sitting in his driveway for 6 years.

This Laurentian looks like it can be saved though. I hope someone picks it up and does.

The Acadian's only been there 6 years? What about the Rambler or the white one in front off all of them? Or the camper? At least he is trying to sell his Cutlass!

Ya, first in last out with Henry, maybe the Acadian has only been there for 4 years! He used to drive it a shis daily.

Anybody want a solid 78 Cutlass Supreme, 260 V8, was daily driver until fall. Ha d aminor parking lot battle when it was parked.

When I sold the 64 to a friend he had it painted the original colour and had very, very little body work to do. The drivetrain was perfect, for what it was, the interior was great and he installed the rally wheels. I think he only drove it a couple of years and sold it to the person that has it now. I don't think it has been driven the last 10 to 15 years, just sitting. If the frost hasn't hurt the frame much it should be an easy car to redo. It never had any floor issues at that time however sitting over dirt could have hurt it. I don't remember the last 2 door post 64 I've seen, much less that colour combination. With a 409, 4 speed, this car would really stand out and be well worth investing in.
