I guess I'm totally out of the loop!! What ever happened to ,wear your best suit,maybe new shoes, & the girls picked their best "sunday" dress!!  This is really "NUTS" trying to OUT DO everyone else, & the graduates get everything they want to beat out the Jone's HELLO OUT THERE, life ain't like that & the sooner they learn this, the better, so the "shock" isn't so bad!!!!!!

I'm an uneducated dropout. Short one credit. I failed economics in Grade 12. Grad night, I was at my evening job pumping gas. Stuff like that was never for me and still isn't.  I'm not sure what I will do in 2 years and 4 years if our son and daughter want to get all crazy like I read here.

Wedding....Ugh ! l my eldest daughter is 23 so that is a real possibility now too. The only good thing I have going is the house next door just listed this week for $975,000, He Haw, lots of equity in mine. Wedding = take out a mortgage! no

I had ten people to the Queen's landing at a cost of just over $1000-then flew to europe and invited 30 people top a hall party with live music-----------flights/food and all less than $5000

Our son came home from his youth group with a new one (for me at least) last night. He said one of the girls who is graduating has a $7 admission fee if you want to come to her grad party????

Ooooooo ya, the couple next door were married for less than two years, police showed up one day and took her away. Mary had coffee with her recently and got the details, well at least one side of the details, it's nasty and expensive. cry House just listed as I said above for $135,000 more than they paid!!

damn i wish i had a 57 belair to take to grad.  my cousin wants to use one of our cars for her grad and we gotta drive it 3000kms to get it there

LOL im 19 and i hear ya it freakin nuts i went to my grad in blue jeans and a sweat shirt that i use for welding
