Actually I suppose Our Fearless Leader could change the Rules, but the progression form Guru to a Higher State of Being seems to be in the cards at the magic 1000 post number ...

Nah, I am going to restrain myself (more accurately, those guys in the white coats are coming back to my rubber room to reapply the restraints soon), not tonight, eh?

And thanks for checking out my 56's website, I know it's just one old guy's project but it sure is fun for me and if you and a few other guys approve, I appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave, i admit it's an old joke, 8 or 9 years ago now, before all you crazy kids with your texting.wink

I see 65Camino has made a bid for the 1000, and strategically stopped at 999.

I suspect he feels it's polite to let our Canuck "clone" reach a thousand first......

Us Canadians tend to be a pretty polite group!

I was looking for a picture of Samantha. When I googled "Bewitched" I happened to see this picture and decided to give it a whirl first!

Samantha may follow when I get tired of this avatar.  Now, Samantha was hot....

Honestly Carl, everytime I see your DP. It reminds me of a female Don Knotts.

Carl, Please PLEASE PLEASE change to a picture of Samantha, especially now that Mike has pointed out she is the ugly twin to Homely Don Knotts.

Samantha would be SO much easier on the eyes, eh?

Here, try this one:

999 and holding. To quote an old western movie, "It's quite...too quite...."

PS I never could buy into Elizabeth Montgomery being the daughter of Agnus Moorehead. (Nor could I buy into the guy playing Darren changing without an explanation. Clearly they could have blamed it on some weird witchcraft. But to say nothing? They were "quiet, too quiet" about it...)

I always thought the new Darren didn't hold a candle to the old one. Wasn't it Dick Sargeant first, they Dick York?

Good memory with the names Carl. The first guy was the better of the two. Pretty intense, stressed out and overall pretty emotional..
Paul Lind was always a laugh as Uncle Arthur...(Wasn't there also a Dr Bombay?)

Dick York was the first guy. I believe he had to quit due to back problems and a painkiller habit.
