AC spark plugs

Trying to find AC44 spark plugs for my 261, just read on the pc that they don't make them anymore? Ordered plugs last week, sent me AC44t which is a small plug, mine are the big ones. Anyone know what I can put in there as I would like to stick with the AC's Thanks Brent

I went to purchase AC Delco R44T last week. Only had two in stock and told me unlikely more would come. Used the cross reference book and I bought NGK Power V.

Funny you should mention this.  i went to get R44 for my 283 220 hp.  They only listed R43 or R45.  Never thought anything of it, got r45 instead.

Guess I will go with the 45's, according to the AC Delco forum the 45 were just a little bit hotter plug but made most gm engines run better and longer lasting plug. Thanks

Remember back in the day we had to change plugs quite frequently. With the advent of lead free gas plugs last much longer
