I got to go for a spin in the Dodge today. What a cool old ride. Flathead & 2 speed automatic working good! People sure look when they see it.

Ya, we stopped for gas and some guy who owned a 69 Chevelle came up to us and asked us if it was a "Leave it to Beaver Car". haha.

Manual drum brakes, single master cylinder, no seatbelts. PRICELESS!

The More door addiction !

it followed me home !

its going to be this years family cruiser !

1963 Bel Air 4-door sedan, 6 cylinder auto, 64,000 miles, extremely solid (always oiled) not winder driven for years and years-someone's hobby car-they died-I bought it from the estate-I paid yes-but its a lot more car than you could buy in a two door for the same dollars-amazing how much attention it gets !

Cool! Sometimes the non mainstream cars garner more attention. Just drive it and enjoy it. That's my plan with the Dodge. Poverty caps would be cool though!

I have three of two diffent type poverty caps-I was thinking that too but the tires have to get taller (they are 205's-need to be 225's I think), I'm in under $3000 so it should make a good driver and return my money when I want it-the only real issue is the guy had the tranny changed at some point and its now a 350 turbo. I plan to just drive it.

your right these type of cars were the common to people so they relate-my Dad has a 67 chev 1/2 ton long box 3 on the tree and more people would look at it than my 68 RS/SS 396 4-speed Camaro back in the 1990's !

I love mainstrean but I just love old cars too ! I have a set of N.O.S. plastic seat covers for the front of a four door sedan that I've been waiting to use on something !!!

What makes them fun is you can do what you want to them without worrying about deviating from originality. Wanna race! :)

 or hurting their value !

I'd race ya but I hear we can have our cars seized these days for that-I like the car too much for that  :)

I was looking it over today and mostly all the chrome is excellent-the front end sheet metal is excellent plus all the other little things-hell its worth what I have in it for a parts car if someone were buildig a Super Sport or a rag top-the floors are incredible

I was trying to buy something nonsaleable so I could drive it the summer !

yesterday's garage sale netted a half dozen guys that were near shock when I told them it was probably worth $3000---I never seen any money though

today an old friend offered his 54 chev on trade (thinking about it) the 54 is nicer but the 63 is probably more driver friendly

ready to buy ?
