ok its comedy night at canadian poncho LOL you guys are a riot first it will be in a heated garage if its ok with the wife i would keep it in the bedroom but i just dont see that happening and ya im sure it would fit just fine in your 70 2+2
Fog the cylinders, intake and exhaust, turn it over by hand and re-fog the cylinders... has it been run at all? Might be good to break in the cam now...if not make sure you relube it before firing it up... and prime the oil pump... tape up all the openings, bag it, seal it up with a dessicant inside the bag...you may also want to back off the valve springs and re-set them later...

Well Andrew beat me to it!!! Depending on how long it's going to sit, I would be "backing off the valve adjustment", to seal up the cyls. Would be best to fire it before storage, then you could really "fog" the whole engine through the carb. Condensation is worst, a friend has a fresh rebuilt 396 sitting on stand & in spring the whole engine was covered in it, had to take it apart & redo it due to RUST!!!!
