I was in Edmonton last week to upgrade my safety courses to work on the various minesites in Fort McMurray. I stayed with a friend, and because he was busy working, he gave me the keys to his new red Mustang and told me to hit some carshows. When I opened the garage, it turned out to be a little bit more than a Mustang. It had a couple of performance upgrades as well. It was definitely perky!
Anyway, on Friday night I hit the cruise on 137th at the A&W and saw these cars.
Nice photos for sure with a great selection of Ponchos. I was attrcated to theta 65 Safari wagon but alas is was a US Catalina, still sweet looking car.
Thanks guys! That 427 Beaumont was kinda rough for the money. I suspect he'll own it for a long time. Ray, that Monte Carlo was a ProStreeter. I may have a front photo.

We have discussed this before but convertible Beaumonts must have the highest survivor rate of any Canadian car when put against the low production figures.
Thanks John, Mine was an '86, this is an '85 but pretty much identical. I was thinking about it today wondering which car I owned that was faster than my Cadillac, I think the Nortstar pulls a lot harder than the L-69 could but I like the SS best.

That's hilarious. Sounds like a humble guy. Great photo's indeed. (I would agree, looks to be an SLR with a fairly wide angle lens. If not, I'd love to know what they were shot with?...)
