I just got back from the Port Rowan Canada Day car show. It was very well organized and the show area was packed. I got there about 10 and stayed until about 2:15. The food was good including the free birthday cake. The Pontiac ran great. Here's some photos in no particular order:
For you GMC guys:
I spoke to the owner of the above 68 Beaumont and gave him a CP card. He's going to try to get on here. He needs some trim pieces for the Beaumont so perhaps one of us can help him.
Here's some off brand photos:
I like these boats:
One healthy looking big block!
I really liked this Meteor Club Sedan. First one I've seen
Cool headers
I couldn't decide if I liked these headlights on this mid 80's Chevy Truck:
I loved this one. 4 speed too!
This Mercury reminded me of the one used in the movie "Grease". There was a few gasps when the owner opened the hood and revealed a SBC! I would've chosen a hopped up flattie but to each their own!
After the show I found a nice spot to take a few photos of my Laurentian in the hopes I would get a decent shot that I could print out and hang on my garage wall. Since it was very hazy I had to play with the saturation a bit to bring out the colour.
All in all I had a good day. I saw Bob and his nice 58 Laurentian and met a lot of other nice people. This show is well worth going to.
Very Nice Photos, Thanks for Sharing. I find it interesting to see what cars are in other parts of the country.

Great photos Todd. Really like that Polara convertible. I can't remember ever seeing one of those. With Canada Day you guys are quite abit more than 3 hours ahead of us Westerners.
I was surprised that I didn't see more familiar faces today (Gus, where have ya been?). I wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for Bob telling me about it a few weeks ago. I wonder how many other good local shows I've missed?
I forgot to post this photo of the "Model T Assemblers" who put this pile of parts together in under 6 minutes and had a complete running/driving Model T chassis. Of course after seeing this I wanted a Model T...
Looks like a good show. I've seen a lot of those cars around. The shows this year in St. Thomas are all different. Only once a month here in the city and once a month at a conservation area just north of town. So if i have this right we have no more shows here now until the one here in town Jul. 10. Crazy and confusing!
Thanks for the pics, Todd. My faorite is the 56 Meteor - one of those down here would turn even more heads than a Canadian Poncho, I think ... at least until I open my hood
I like the middle photo of the 3 shots of your car - contrast of the beautiful yellow paint with the blue sky and water is just right. SHows off the roof line and long smooth trunk too. Horizon is just right, no other shore sticking up. The last photo, the water looks too grey-green, IMHO.

I agree
