Wow, I remember watching nearly all of those shows way back when.
Today it seems ironic that the theme song for Baretta starring Robert Blake is "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time"
I also remember watching the series that Baretta replaced. It was "Toma". I can still remember the theme song to that one, in fact I can remember nearly all of them.

Dragnet is one of my all time favorites. I'm a big fan of Jack Webb (he also created Adam 12 and Emergency). I have the first season of Dragnet 1967 (great car shots) and about 20 episodes of the original series from the 50's (they drove an early 50's Ford) and about 200 radio episodes on MP3.
Yeah, I love them too. The thing i find is that if you listen to too many Dragnets in a row you start talking like Jack Webb. It really annoys the wife.
Also did any magazine ever track down what became of the Rockford cars and trucks?
I know they kind of resurrected the Firebird for the movies in the nineties but I wonder if it was the same exact car? They must have gone through a bunch of them as Garner or somebody usually trashed the poor thing just about every show.
Great stuff. The Rockford writing holds up really well I think.
I think my next DVD series purchase will be Rockford Files. I used to really enjoy that show. Of course I did see that Dragnet 67 season 2 has just been released... Highway Patrol is available on Ebay- some guy got ahold of them and has put them on DVD. I don't think it was released commercially though.
