I remember seeing a picture on the net of that car quite some time ago. It looks as it it has had a repaint since the picture I saw. The car does look good.
Arizona car from 73-02, in CT for the last 8 years, has a/c.... Mint 99% rust free body, there's minor dings and scratches, a small hole in spare tire well, a small front windshield leak, needs uncracked dash pad installed, (I have one) and front bench seat recovered, redye of upper plastic trim needs done in spots, but all plastic is good and not scratched or dry rotted, the rest of the 2-tone tan and brown interior is good. Front door panels have the GTO emblems like a factory car would. All chrome and trim is 98% good, and the mostly original paint will buff out, it's dirty now from sitting. I have a good amount of wagon specific NOS that that will go with the car if it's sold in one piece. I will sell it whole and running, ready to drive it away, or will sell it as a roller without motor and trans. The motor is a rebuilt '68 350 horse 400 with #16 heads, and the trans is a rebuilt T400 with heavy duty bands and clutches. New dual exhaust with NOS hangers and potato launcher exhaust tips straight out of 1973....NASA hood, black grilles and GTO badging throughout. GTO front and rear sway bars, FN code heavy duty 15X7 Enforcer rims with no trim rings and baby moon hubcaps, Tiger Paw 275/60/15's all around with 85% tread left....$3500 complete with all extra parts, $1995 rolling with all extra parts, either way, it's a good deal for someone into these cars. I'd hate to have to part it out and scrap the body shell, so if you're interested, have questions, whatever, give me a holler here, or call 203-283- 5473, ask for Bruce.

I don't understand strip out the motor and tranny and use for parts either. Shipping from the States $1400 border fees and inspection $500. The look on my wife's face seeing it in the driveway PRICELESS
