Nice car! Have you run it down the 1/4 mile with that powertrain?

nope, but im way curious, may do so next weekend tho, any guesses? Actually serious here, any idea what it would run? 10:5:1, 355 gear, 2600 stall, 750 mighty demon, shifting it at 6000g's and it;s still really really pulling but i don't want to abuse or break it to much, i can tell you it sure does not hook, leave on teh convertor and mat it and it will light the tires up through first, and all of second, shift to drive and it stops spinning, lot's of fun...

I had a consistant 13:90 5.0 stang two years ago, this thing would hand that it's ass all day...if it went 14 anything i will promptly buy a jerry can, fill with ultra 94, pour contents on car and get out the marshmellows, you may be right but i would be sad...cry..... nah, it sounds retarted, does hellacious burnouts and gets lot's of attention...who cares how fast it is right???? Right???

I'm curiuos to hear what it would run, nothing wrong with a 14.20....

my 33 chevy with a 300 hp 454 and 3.50 gears runs 14 flat at a 100mph, coming outta the whole with the tranny loaded up ...... not fast by the clock, but sure is by the seat of your pants.

14.2 is a good time for a street car   the 5.0 mustang would be 800lbs lighter    My Chief will destroy tires, and will run 13.40 with headers open on 2.73's  IF you can get it to hook up  wink

BYGDDY,

Get your boss Shiv to lend me a Mitsubishi Evo and we can face off on Bank Street. Queensdale to your dealership should be about a quarter mile!

Lol, we don't keep them on the lot, to many salespeople would feel that's an appropriate car to do coffee runs in....and i just took one of the Kids for a tour to get coffee and oddly enough at Queensdale i left 40ft of rubber through the lights like an idiot teenager.....
