Mike, you only have ... umm, let's see, date of birth subtracted from age 60 or so, compared to the year 2010 ... hmmm, don't think about it, just do what you're doing, you've got it right, work now, save some, the day will come when you'll be retired by me and can putter around on the cars as much as you want.

Ken, you're right, the frame on my 56 is in really good shape, no significant rust even on the body mounts. Maybe that layer of crud protected it all those years? I suspect it was a Western car since I bought it from California, so probably spared the salty roads of Ontario?

Andy, you are exactly correct and I do keep at it and will someday have the nice shiny painted end result. Already have the interior and the suspension to that stage, next is the engine compartment.
