Help: need dimesnions for Nova ss hood ornaments

 I have a pair of these ornaments but have had no luck finding info on where to install the correctly. I need dimensions if anyone knows these dimensions it would be appreciated, I don't want to install them wrong, they don't belong on a 73 but we want to put em on anyhow. A little axtra bling, it isn't stock anymore so what the heck may as well customize it a little more.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD THERE ARE A COUPLE OF THE HOLES FOR THE ORNAMENTS IN THE HOOD BRACEING. JUST DRILL THEM THROUGH AND MEASURE FOR THE REST.

 My car is a 73, no holes in the hood to reference. however I did get the dimensions from another forum. Thanks for the reply.

IS THE HOOD FOR A '73 DIFFERENT THAN FOR '68-'72?
