Hi Guys, i always wanted a rear sway bar for my 66 Grande Parisienne so I finally ordered a GM one through Classic Industries. Once I got it my bro said "Oh, we've had one of those in the old granery for about 25 years. You shudda asked me." So now I have a spare brand new Classic Industries rear sway bar for a 1966 Impala (Fits CP's) that I don't need. I'd like to get what I paid for it ($200.00) or am I crazy. PM me if interested with an offer that doesn't make me curse your opportunism. This is a bare bar with nothing attached but it is brand new.
Here are pics of the new one (black) and the old one with the bolts and reinforcing plates. I'm keepin the old one and hardware but i will closely photograph the other hardware you'd need so you know what to get to mount it. I've never seen one of these as from the factory so I'm not really sure but as I understand it you also need to use boxed radius arms. (Can probably box the existing ones; at least that's my plan.) It mounts with the arms facing to the front of the car and the dip in the bar is so it will clear underneath the differential cover .
I probably will never need this in the flat prairies but if I'm coming to B.C. I'll probably flex it on some of the curves!
(I just noticed in the pics that I've got them laying upside down with the dip up instead of down as it should be.)

If you have a genuine 66 bar, it'll have a softer bend in the middle than your new one. They are actually quite hard to come by, so it's a find if you actually have one. The bar will be one of the best things you'd ever done for the handling on your Grand. You'll not need to bother boxing your arms.
Here's some illustrations to help the install...
