hey NOS thanks for the info, im likly going to have to buy a whole replacement kit pump cylinders and lines, unless some one has some parts they want to part with. I passed up a pump a few yrs back at the bothwell car show, just a little leary on used stuff like that. I have a set of cylinders, have had them for 18 yrs not sure if they are any good
when the time comes I`ll buy a complete kit with every thing new. My brother tried peicing it all together and ended up buying new in the end. Guy out of Florida that sells at Carlisle is a good guy to deal with.
Sorry for reviving this old thread but just an FYI to those who might be interested. I recently purchased a Body By Fischer manual ('66) and came across the following which states:
If fluid is low, add Delco #11 Hydraulic Fluiid (GM Hydraulic Brake Fluid Super #11 or its equivalent) to bring to specified level.

Thanks Dan. I see that same page in my Fisher book as well, so I think I'm good! Thanks for the offer.

REviving this ancient thread.....so what is the equivelent brake fluid to use these days for the convertible system as advised in the body by fischer manual?
Or, considering the system is dry, just a teeny tiny tad in the cylinders, should I use GM equivelent ATF?
cheers!

not as thin as break fluid ,break fluid is like water hyd fluid is some what thick ,i would empty as much out as you can and put it up and down a couple of times and drain and start fresh with hyd fluid
