Some pics from an all GM show. Hot day, great turnout. Green 56 Pontiac is a 6 cyl Laurentian in excellent condition. The owner of the blue and white 56 4 dr sedan has had the car since 1974. His brother owns the 73 Cutlass. The green 62 Parisienne is the car I restored and sold about three weeks ago. The blue 73 Parisienne is a 400 ci car in excellent condition. The beige 73 Biscayne has 18,500 original miles and is near mint; my brother owns it. The blue 69 Firebird is as I recall, a RA III 4 speed car. The Corvair is a mid engine V8 conversion and is one of my favorite cars around here, very nicely done. And the 70 Chevelle is a factory LS6 4 speed 454 car from California that I believe is unrestored.

The 64 Chevelle came here from NB 2 years ago. Was silver. Changed hands last year (asking price was $25K - don't know what it sold for. New owner painted it yellow). The 73 Parsienneis in good condition, and wasn't an expensive car. The owner looks after it well.
I didn't notice when I took the pic that the 64 Chevelle is for sale again. When it was for sale in NB in 2008 the ask was around $13K; the guy who bought it wanted $25K last year. I wonder what the newest owner wants with fresh yellow paint?
I thought the car was worth the 08 asking price but personally I wouldn't consider this car for anywhere near $25K. In any event I can't buy it - just bought a 68 Bel Air 2 dr post car, and if I could choose another car it would be my brother's like new 18K mile 73 Biscayne. Storage space is the only issue.
its to bad i didn't know about these car shows ahead of time john my daughter was asking me if there was any around. nice pictures when is there cruise night and where

There is a big show this coming weekend in the town of Gander in central Newfoundland.
The regular cruise night in St. John's is Thursday at the A&W on Kenmount Road.
