I had the great pleasure years ago to correspond with Paul W. Gillan, Clare Mackichan and one or two others. I just dare any members of this forum to not vomit up at the sight of the proposed (under Earl) '59 monstrosities. There was a mag article a long while back that revealed them...no warning was printed on the front cover though!
