Think I found another Canadian 57' for myself!

After having withdrawl from selling my 57' Laurentian 2 dr hardtop, I started looking around for another one, and it looks like I have found another 57' to put in its place.

Its a 57' Pathfinder Deluxe 2 dr hardtop. Rough, but cheap enough that I get it without going into debt or selling anything.

Now I just have to replenish my 57' parts stash....

Not yet - still have to go and actually buy the car. I am going to do that this weekend. When I get it home I will take some pics.

Got the car home. Pics coming.

The guy says its a chieftan, but its actually a pathfinder or pathfinder deluxe I believe.

Its a 2 dr hardtop, factory V8/PG car. It looks like it was originally a light bronze color. It currently has a running 350 and Th700 swapped in, and a 8.5" rear with a set of 7-'s camaro rims on it.

Anyone have a good frame or complete floor pan? The car is signifigantly not as described but I got the price down to where its still worth it. The frame is rusted in a few places, and the floors, trunk, and rear quarters are real bad - mostly from previous poor repairs.

I think I am going to drop the remains of the body onto a caprice 9C1 chassis and floorpan. Car is rusted pretty bad underneath. The frame on one side broke while towing it home ona dolley.

Its an interesting car. Looks like it was originally a coppery but I am unsure the interior color. Here are some pic's.

It also looks like it might have been a 4brl/dual exhaust car as the fuel line is on the outside of the frame. It doesn't have a radio, and the delete plate is still in place. It is a power steering car also. I found the pump in the trunk that bolts to the back of the generator and everything else is still in place.

After I get it on thenew chassis, anyone need anything from the old one?
