The top down, does not allow the A/C to work as well...    so I leave the top up...is that bad for it?

Not so much in that it is bad for it but it is much safer.  As we get older we get lazier with our shoulder checks and with the top down there are no obstructions.  You have a clear view all around you except for your windshield frame.  My wife also finds it better for seeing the mountaintops which has nothing to do with safety.  I guess just do what you feel comfortable with.

Neat that it is an Impala SS with a 427 rather than an SS427 car with the special hood, or were the SS427 cars not available in Canada?

Dan.... this car is rare in itself , as the original buyer did not order the more desireable Z24 ( SS427) package which would have given him the 427, and the SS domed hood etc.... . The buyer just chose the L36 engine option on its own. Being a 4 speed car is also very desireable.

If this car "did" have the Z24 option it would have been sold already ( I would have grabbed it yesterday !)... but then I would need a divorce lawyer .

Talked to the owner yesterday afternoon. He's is actually moving out of the country ( to Mexico), and is unloading all of his cars ,projects ,  house etc....  so the car will get sold .

He is into this car for $14K, and will take offers.

Car sold , and is staying in Canada. ( A buddy in Alberta bought it)

Damn damn damn, I missed out on this one working in Flin Flon with no internet furious. So it is true that there was a 427 4spd red convert around here. Thats 2 427 4spd 67 Impala SS' that have been for sale here in Manitoba the past 2 years.

Still trying to find a Canadian built AND delivered 67 SS427.

So far thats 3 67 427 Impala SS' that have been here in Manitoba that I know of.
