For sale due to health issues.  1968 Beaumount SD 396 2 dr hardtop. One of 702 built. Rare Tripoli Turquise Metalic paint. Interior has buckets & console in Pearl Parchement.   Rebuilt in 2009; 396, 350 hp motor and Turbo 400 transmission.
Car completely restored in 2006.  Have receipts to almost $55,000. A very beatiful car.  $45,000 obo.

It is listed on Ebay now. The ad says it is one of the most factory correct SDs around. I see a long list of non-factory things wrong with the car.

I agree with you James, here is the 'most' factory correct SD ,, correct because it is UNRESTORED  other than the repaint in the 80's !! I believe the owner told me 90'000 miles??

I e-mailed them and told them, they will be re-listing the car for months without putting a BUY IT NOW on it.. 

At $45,000.00  only serious bidders will be bidding

A lot of bidders will be dreaming of buying it for $20,000...........

the ebay car is a beauty , no doubt, it's to bad a politician wrote the ebay ad to fluff it !

as for the 68 convertible, it was at the car show this year, NO trim tag info , the owner would not let me photograph it. I did explain why,,,but. He did open the hood for me , bone stock , slighty grimy 396, all as it should be with a unrestored car !!

i may  be wrong  but  i dont think the seats on the hard top are the right seats

was  there a head rest  option  in 68  ????

I know they were an option on the '68 Chevelle.  Not sure if Pontiac offered them on the Beaumont.  A really rare option that I've only seen on a few Velle's.  It was big and looked out of place on that small style bucket seat.

1966, 1967 and 1968 Beaumonts could be ordered with optional headrests both on the bench seat or bucket seats. 
 In 1969 they were standard equipment but always show up on the documentation from GM Canada.

I don't think there's much in the Chevelle/Beaumont line bringing 45K these days except maybe a numbers matching solid lifter engine car.

Well I don't know to much about the price ...but the 68 beaumont that sold on Berrett Jackson
went for 26,400.00 and i would think it was in tip top condition as thats the Berrett way.
So why is this car selling for so much more ?
