Pete. don't worry, I am looking forward to driving down with you, we can sort out via PM. I prefer to use Don Valley Park Way South, Gardner expressway west which connects to QEW. You can drive to my place which is basically 65camino's place too, we are 5 minutes from Gardner via DVP.

Gas station near you? may have to top off for the rest of trip, or bring 45 gal. drum on trailer behind the Cat. [kidding] I made it from here to Niagra Falls on less than a tank!!!!!

Met Cliff on the way home from birthday party, we ended up in the same gas station just east of Oshawa. I was in my P/up but had no trouble seeing him with his Blue 67 Chevy. Any other time I would be driving the 64 but Sat. I had to deliver a 48" x 24" x 18" fish tank to granson's parents house. Have met Cliff at a few cruise's & he "clicked"in  to who I was, as soon as I spoke to him!!! 

This will be more fun than the Ingersoll show. You can drive your Acadian instead of just parking it.

So what is the potential #'s for attending up to, looking forward to meeting everyone see you all in a week

401 to #6 is a good route,or 403 down to the QEW & I refuse to use the 407 as it's not the gov. but private enterprise that screwing us this time. I could put my "velcrowed" 64 plates on the car, but some poor guy in northern Ont. will get the bill for his trailer plate that matches up with my 64 plates. Traffic shouldn't be too bad on Sun for the construction?? Should it???????????

 Well Ray,

  I HOPE to bring the Red car, only 2 things stand in the way.  The fact I blew something in the brake system this morning....pedal hit the floor!!!  2nd is the lifter tick has finally been figured out.... I have a lifter bore clearance issue!!!!  When I fired the car up I still had a noise noticeable between 1500-2000rpm.  After a closer look I noticed on #4 cyl. that the one pushrod would rotate part way then stop.  SO I checked the lifters I had removed and sure enough there were line-like marks around the lifter as opposed to the nice shiny band from rotating.  So tonight I hope to start pulling it apart AGAIN!!!  First find the brake issue, then I will look at the lifter!!!!  IF all goes well, it will be in Hamilton on Sunday!!

As far as driving from our end of the 401 goes if we continue east past Woodstock and not turn on the 403 there is a stretch of construction for about 15k i think it is. Down to one lane each way as they add more lanes.
