Beaumont Cowl Tag

I just picked up a 68 Beaumont Custom convertible project/parts car/basket case and that due to extensive rust and rot the cowl tag has fallen through and disappeared. All things considered I will be saving this car however wondered about having the cowl tag reproduced...any suggestions? Is this possible? What should I do? Thanks, Terry

Look carefully everywhere in the car plus inside the cowl area in case someone tossed it there?.
Also maybe worth checking where the car was sitting plus past owners files etc?.

If no love, personal opinion perhaps but I'd leave it w/ nothing..
For one you don't have all the info to repop it exactly anyway also bogus tags are easy to spot plus give a bad taste to otherwise genuine cars..
Luckily the as built info from GM Canada Vintage services is available for your car and is more important to have than the tag!.

Good luck w/ everything!>
