Made arrangements to travel to the cruise with a new friend. Imagine a big city like Toronto and finding a guy just 10 minutes away with a similar car? Here are my Saturday night images:
Black Widow has gone with a 1973 Bonneville 455 in favor of Oshawa installed 305. YIKES!
Anything to note about this one?

Your two LeMans look great together. The skirts work on the black car, which looks great with the red interior. Also love the 68 Caprice with hideaways, and that green 57 Pontiac. Nice cars.
Looks good to have a similar car to cruise with!!! Thanks for the Pics.....Love the 60 Dodge

Excellent shots Ray! Still trying to figure out what is notable about the gold TA.
Is it the engine size and shaker hood? Just a guess.
Yes Mike you are one it, but maybe it's not that big a deal, it is a 403 Olds not a Pontiac 6.6 T/A. That was my first clue that it was a US car which was confirmed by the owner. So the shaker reads 6.6 Litre instead of 6.6 T/A.

That is pretty cool Ray. I haven't seen an Olds powered TA before nor did I know about them. The only cars I ever saw with an Olds engine from that era were the Buick Regals and Buick Park Avenues. Thanks for the education. This site enlightens me just about everyday with some great car trivia!

I have shown on the photo the tell tale sign that the engine is an Olds 403. The oil fill tube and cap is right at the front of the engine.
my goodness thats a wierd one is it a 1980? ive seen caprice wagons with 307 olds in em.....cool pictures of the show
That is a 79. In 1980 Trans Ams got 301's only. The 6.6 T/A was rated at 220 net HP while the Olds engine was rated at 185 net HP. Pontiac reserved the Pontiac engine for manual shift cars. Here is a list of 403 applications:
