For all the "post car" lovers


Yeah, I know it's a Mercury, but I've never seen one of these. It was up at the racetrack yesterday. I went right over when it pulled in and took a picture throught he chain link fence.
The owner said he bought the car exactly as it sits for $5000 2 years ago, in the Miramichi area. It's a 64 Meteor, 352 , original paint!

This has to be pretty rare now. I recall seeing a picture of a maroon one for sale somewhere a while back, but I've never actually seen a slantback two door post anywhere in my travels.

All Breezeways are cool and even more so when a Post car!.
Very fitting to see considering Mercury's death watch is now upon us..
I remember seeing one here before too also maybe mentioned yet another Breezeway Post I knew of that sat for many years?.

From what I have heard the breezway system worked very well at keeping the car much cooler than a traditional car when driving on hot days.

Looks like the Breezeway's were only available in the 2-Dr. Post body for 63 & 64..

I think that's right. All of the 65-68 Merc and Meteor 2 dr posts I've seen either in person or pics had the Ford  sedan roofline.
