Keep your spirits up Jonathan! There is plenty of time for 2010 to turn around!
I hope they are able to help out your Aunt in Cobourg.

Yes Jonathon, things will get better. I know it's hard to believe right now though. Many many days I have to stop and count my blessings to remind myself how good life is. Make sure you let the people in your life how much you appreciate them. That is a good place to start realizing there is so much we have to be thankful for.

Jonathan i can very much appreciate what you're talking about. I'm fortunate not to have lost anyone and i want to offer my condolences. Both parents have had health problems, my dad is in a nursing home now. Things are finally settling down, and i just keep feeling like i can't let myself relax because i think that's when another problem will jump up at me. Nevertheless i try to just go with it and so far so good. Keep your head up and you can always come on here and get it off your chest if you need to. Then go out and work on the car to get your mind off of it. All the best.

Time is a great healer Jonathon.

On the 5th it was a 20 year anniversary for me losing my mom. Although I will always miss her (and my dad from almost 42 years ago too) it's mostly just lots of smiles when I think of all the great memories of them. I tell people I'd rather be missing someone who I cared about so much than having them here but not having a good relationship with them. So many people I know don't care about their parents and relatives at all. I find that so sad.

Keep at it Jonathon! Sometimes it takes effort to be positive. Nothing wrong with having a down day either but make sure that you see the silver lining in every cloud.

I've got a few years on you (!!!) and I am often amazed at how the darkest of times is virtually always followed by many bright days. And I don't mean weather!

I remember reading a story about two kids who came down the stairs on Christmas morning only to find a giant pile of horse crap under the tree. The first kid was understandably disappointed to say the least. The second kid ran to the tree, jumped into the crap and started digging with his bare hands. The first kid yelled "what are you doing?!!!!" to which the second kid exclaimed enthusiastically... "With this much horse crap, there has got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

It's not always easy to be positive, but you'll find the more positive you are, regardless of the situation, the more positive people you will attract and the more positive the situation will end up being.  (Just one chubby guys opinion...)
Great to hear that things are improving!!!

Take it from an old broad in a bad business:  It always gets better and it sounds to me like you're finding your way.
