The phone number is a good one (A Mr. Longtin) in the same area of the ad. Give him a call. I'd do it soon as this looks like a good buy!

It's probably less than 20 feet. I think the ad is legit. The market for old cars is very, very soft right now. These make a much nicer and rarer driver than a Chevy. Parts are plentiful and most of the stuff except trim is reasonable. If my financial situation was better I would be on it. Wonder if he would trade for an Allante'?

Should fit  wink

A 20-foot-long (6.1 m) ISO container equals 1 TEU.

Are 20 foot containers 20 feet inside or is that the outside dimension?.

Also considering the '60 fins plus protruding front headlight brows, even if clearance seems sufficient and car is properly tied down it may still be a good idea to consider filling any front and rear voids w/ something soft but hard enough to absorb any impacts on the high seas!..

I had to measure my 66 Cadillac convertible last night for a buyer and it was 19 feet. His shop is 20 ft. I think this 60 is about the same. Good luck Jean. I hope you get it. BTW I think the color is called "Persian Sand". It's an exclusive Cadillac only mix. The other GM divisions had similar but the Cadi had more metalflake and was hand polished lacquer.

Sorry, I am at the cottage and internet is sketchy. I know that car, it is very nice, it comes to cruises around Toronto. I may have even posted photos of it in the past.

Can you paypal or wire him a deposit? The buyer of my 59 Dodge (and a previous interested buyer who later backed out) wired me $1000 to hold it..

I think you should wire a deposit before the Oshawa guy looks at it!

hmmm... tempting, I don't have anybody to go check the car this week end... it's friday afternoon here, 4 pm.. a little late...I just hope the Ottawa gentleman doesn't buy it... we'll see, think positive!

Do you trust the voice and the way the owner talks? If so tell him to send you chassis pic's, floor, frame, bottom of quarter panels. If you do then send him a deposit. I can tell by the way people talk if the car is a piece of crap or not. This one looks good to me. If I wanted it I would take a gamble and send a deposit.
