Being strictly factual 1973 GTO's rarely sell for more than $10,000 and 1977 Can Ams can sell for $15,000. I know a guy with a reliable 20 footer and he paid $2,800 for his Sport Coupe, it can easily travel to Owen Sound and back and Hamilton and back with no problems. 1973 colour combos don't seem to show black paint with maroon vinyl top... so unmolested? I think not. Ho hum it's another technicolour dream.

Nice car but ! There is also a 76 or 77 around ottawa and he wants 29 large ....... I email that guy just to confirn if the decmil point was correct .

 Back in 1973 - 74 I remember in Dunneville, Ontario a 1973 Grand Prix, black with a red vinyl roof cover & interior. It was unusual (for a Grand Prix) in that it also had small dog dish Pontiac hubcaps. It had factory dual exhausts as well (blue block 400 4-barrels were standard).

Also in Ancaster around the same time there was a black 1973 Parisienne 4-door hardtop with a white vinyl roof & interior.

How do I remember all this trivial stuff? I was observant even back then and if I saw something unusual I would remember it. That is how I recall seeing a single 1973 Biscayne with a six or a single 1969 Impala Sport Sedan with a six some 34 years ago.


Wow, he's asking a fair bit for that LeMans. Even though it hasn't seen salt I have a hard time believing it will fetch those bucks. I remember in 1998 inquiring about a 1974 Laguna Type S3,  factory 454 4-speed in Toronto that was a Canadian car and had not seen winter. I was only the second person to call in the month he had it advertized. The only person to look at it bought it on the spot for $6700. That is a super rare combination (probably about a dozen or so in Canada equipped with that drivetrain) yet nobody seemed to be interested.

I'd have to admit that I thought the 73 Laguna looked wierd and never really liked it compared to the chrome bumpered Chevelle. The Chevelle SS of that era was always a favourite of mine, it was available on the wagon too. Anyway, a 454 4 speed Laguna would appeal to me now, wierd looking or not!
