Pretty sure 68 SD trim ranks up there with 65 Beaumont side trim and 67 SD rear panel trim...
My guess is that there are guys out there with projects sitting with all the trim but they are going to fix them up "someday". And for some, someday never comes.
I suppose it is great that they keep all the parts intact because "someday" someone is going to have to do something with the projects that haven't been completed. It is so frustrating for the guys doing restorations.
I 've been watching a 67 SD car sit and rot in a field for the past 3 years because the owner is a "someday I'll fix it up" guy!
I thought there had been talk of reproducing it. It might be a good idea to send a PM to 68SD396RAG on this site. Seems to me he mentioned that a while back.
I'm not sure how often he reads here. If you don't get a reply from him, let me know.

Yup I was one of them guy's... I had a 58 Delray and that was the plan... but then I was moving and it forced me to realize that I would do nothing with it and the car would rot away Best thing I ever did with that car was sell it to someone who would restore it and take a loss. As for the side trim for the Coolest car ever I will get back to ya I might have a line on some.
