August 2010 new camera 007.jpgAugust 2010 new camera 008.jpgTaken August 30th at the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa where they held a big Vintage Air Rallye with a side order of a few local older vehicles. The rat rod is a 1930 US Pontiac and looks really great. Just back on the road - last registered 1947! Owned by a nice couple from the Carleton Place area who are really into planes.

The orange '70 Olds W-30 455 is a one owner car, originally from Brockville ON and the red Studebaker is a Canadian Poncho wannabe.

This one was in the lot outside the show, a 1986 Cutlass Supreme 4 door, last year for the rear drive G-body. Call me sick but I really like it. Didn't think to get the VIN, could have been a St-Therese car.August 2010 new camera 010.jpg

That is so cool, Cars and planes. I really love the Aviation Museum in Ottawa, I try to go everytime I am there. I guess it is in Rockcliffe, nes pas? We are very fortunate to have all of the wonderful museums and galleries in the Capital City.

We were just taliking about how nice Ottawa is at dinner, My eldest was down to teh National archives in June do research for her thesis and was commenting on how nice a city it is.

Thanks for the nice comment. I did get a bit ahead of myself, ment Aug.29th, 30th is tomorrow! Yup, the museum is in Rockcliffe, and there is a ton going on in Ottawa as far as museums and the like. Ment to say last year for the G-body 4 door.
