Pretty unique car. 325 HP, 4 speed, buckets, no console and it's a stripe car too. I wonder if he knows it's rare because of the stripe? You would think he would list it if he did.

I would think he would post the docs too if he had them. You can't get any more information from the VIN than what has been posted.
 I think it would be in his best interest as the seller to better inform potential buyers. JMHO

It's Canadian so the vin will tell all when the docs are pulled. I have seen other cars with M-20 cowl tags that are auto cars and less. Cowl tags mean nothing without GM of Canada docs.

I guess the cowl tag could be changed but the numbers would reflect that.
 Information from VVS has also been known to be incorrect.

I think you have alot more to worry about on earlier cars because the options are less. The docs are greyer on the newer ones.
