i got a quick question fellas anyone remove the stock column and replace with an ididit or rpc or flaming river if so how do i get the shaft off the steering box?
Adam, I did a strg. col. swap on a 56 chevy I had yrs ago. I took the "rag' joint off a late model GM strg. box, then took measurement of depth of joint, cut the shaft that length from original strg. box, slipped the rag loint on the shaft, drilled & pinned it then welded it on as well!!! then you have something to joint up a newer strg. col. Hopes this is clear & helps out????

well thanks guys!! and have been tossin around doin a gasser but it just way to solid to basterdize so its just gona be a real clean street machine with a 327 saginaw 4gear and stock diff posi and "just drive it" and enjoy it
