Looking GREAT, glad to see you went V8 & "straight drive" [as they say down south] Much less hassles if you need parts while "puttin" the miles on her!!! Where you gonna find a fuel pump, w/pump, etc. when your far from home & the parts guy says "whats a 261"???? SBC is the way to go & most reliable if you don't over do it on beefing it!!!!

Sorry, I have not taken mine off yet so do not know the process. If 55 is like 56, it looks like it will be tricky due to the need for the front to lap under a bit. Surely don't want to bend it!

I just received my Fenton intake and header. I'm hopping up the 235, more of an appearance upgrade than performance I'm sure !
Actually it is both, it really is both. Just make sure you do not over carburate that 235 with 3 one barrells. Stick with two one barrel carbs unless you are putting in a higher lift cam and working the head some. Three carbs only work well if you are opening up that 235 to breath more with the cam and head work. I would also highly recomend converting the distributor with a PERTRONIX kit. Those changes will make a world of difference in your sweet 235 inliner, as long as the ignition and carburation are properly set up. Of course the added bonus is that you do not look like everybody else at the shows. Excellent choice in going your 235 six inliner and good luck with her. Cheers. George.
