if it is a SD it must be fairly rare with that combo

I think that the car in question is a 736 car. I've seen that car at least 4 other times and have always loved the work. After I get all my pictures loaded to photobucket, you can see why I think it is a 736 car. Definately one of the nicest cars at the show!

Just to set the record straight the yellow Beaumont isn't an SD.

Thank you!

It sure wasn't quite adding up.

Sure is a nice looking car though, all the same.

What a great car show!  Just finished loading pictures to photobucket and I am still amazed at the turnout of cars and people.  We were pretty busy taking pictures and trying to see the whole show so we didn't get the chance to visit much or meet any of the CP guys.  Just as we were pulling out, Jerel (jmont) caught us and said hello.  Wished we could have visited.  Your car looked great Jerel and represented  CP very well!  Here is the link to the pics https://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w243/stevenson_m/High%20River%20Show%202010/?start=all

Something we learned today about parking at a car show.... don't park in front of a food vendor unless you want people using your car as a resting post while waiting in line for a burger!

Sure looks like a 736 to me.

Yes it was a 4spd with a tilt column too.

The Iron Indians club had a great spot!

Not sure how many guys are into the 89 TTA's but I really like these cars. This one is very rare if the cloth interior is original. It was more than likely a parade car at the 89 Indy 500.
"In addition to three pace cars, an additional 162 "Festival" TTAs were at Indy for VIP and parade duty. All of the cars at Indy, including the three pace cars, had T-tops and cloth interiors."

You sure have a rare cowl tag in the pictures on your photobucket. A Granada Gold base model Beaumont convertible.

Thanks for taking those pictures Ken and Mike, great job. Just got home here an hour ago after just a gorgeous drive. Going through southern Alberta with all those leaves changing and the mountains in the background, it doesn't get much nicer than that. Got into the northern Okanagan valley around 4 and it was 28 degrees so was able to finish the trip with the top down, good way to end the season. Mike, I can see how you have done a good job at getting your girlfriend interested in cars. Man that is a little gem of a car. I'm sure he had a hard time parting with it. You probably won't find any nicer than that anyplace, congrats. Fun show and glad we were able to make a brief connect anyhow. High River can be proud. I'd guess maybe 15000 population and around 1100 cars, that's impressive.

Glad you made it home safely Jerel. Great that you made it out for the weekend of awesome weather. Loved your car as well. The red interior makes it. Nice to see different cars at the AB shows too.

The High River show last year was the first car show that Tamara ever went to. She has enjoyed going for cruises in the white SD but I really had no idea she would take so much interest. Lucky for me as it makes having a car hobby easier. She fell in love with the gold Canso right away on the drive home in it. I think it is a beautiful car and it suits her very well. Thanks for the compliments on it. Hope to see you again Jerel.
