some good news


well i got headlights taillights brake lights signal lights now buttt when i turn on my headlights i got no signal lights or brake lights;
front signal lights work when head lights are on i give up for today any suggestions

Sounds like a ground problem. When you put more power on i.e the headlites, it sucks the ground hard and you lose the other lights basically. Check the ground straps that are supposed to be from the rad support to the frame, fenderwells to frame, firewall to engine etc. You can also check or replace the headlite switch, pull the fuse panel and bend the terminals a bit and coat with di-electric grease etc... There should be a ground strap at the rear frame to rear taillite panel too I think ??

put a new headlight switch in the other day thats when i got my taillights back.
replaced burnt wire on the back of fuse box must be another wire someplace beside the fuse box had enough today back at it tommorrow trying to get it going for the last cruise in orangevill wed nite. if it nice it'll be a big one.
went to MARKDALE SALVAGE  today lots of old trucks about 5 pontiacs
