67 Impala SS427 for sale - not mine

The SS427 hood and SS427 fender badges were added some point along the way.
The GM docs are original to the car pictured. This is a extremely nice original car. I have talked to the current owner a few times, I have pics of the build sheet glued to the under side of the passenger bucket seat bottom.
When this car left Winnipeg years ago it had the SS427 hood on it.

I looked into getting this car a couple years ago when it was for sale for a lesser price.
Possibly original block but it was decked so no more #'s, quarters patched up etc.

Interesting thread.  My build sheet does not show the Z24 option present.  prior owner of my car tossed the original front fenders so I have no evidence of whether it had "Turbo Jet 427" emblems or the the big "V 427" emblems on front fenders.  What I can tell everyone is the last owner that dismantled my car did order reproduction Z 24 emblems and not the Turbo Jet 427 emblems?? I am not 100% certain my hood is original either.  Of course on the SS427 web-site they state you could not have any "Impala SS" emblems on a Z24 car.  From what I have read there are quite a few Oshawa built cars that made it to the USA dealers in 1967.

Talking about the blue car from Dauphin in bold writing, not the gold car.

Hi Jeff, The turbo Jet emblems are the ones you need. I have a copy of the GM docs for a Canadian built US delivered 67 Z24 car, says Z24 under the options. Still looking for a CDN built and delivered 67 Z24 car.

Ya, where are all the Ontario and east 67 427 cars hiding??

Oshawa built 40 67 Z24's for US export.

So I guess it would be 2,124 US built 67 Z24's plus 40 CDN built 67 Z24's for US sale.
Total of 2,164 built for US sale??? plus what ever St.Therese built ( If any at all).

A major wind storm blasted western New York State.  At the Buffalo Airport, a peak gust of 82 mph and gusts over 70 mph for 6 hours occurred during the early morning. Four deaths were attributed to the storm and property damage was estimated at $2 million dollars.  Lake Erie rose nine feet above normal.

On February 16, 1967, the city of Ottawa was awarded a franchise. To recognize the year of entry into the league, that was one of the first hockey leagues organized in Canada in the early 1890s, the owners named their club the Ottawa 67's on June 30, 1967.

Keith Edward Gretzky (born February 16, 1967 in Brantford, Ontario) is one of the brothers of famous ice hockey player, Wayne Gretzky. Keith was promoted to Director of Amateur Scouting for the Phoenix Coyotes on July 12, 2006, after serving the previous five seasons as an amateur scout for both the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL, and though he attended two training camps and played in several pre-season games, he never played a regular-season game for them.

Recording, mixing: Good Morning Good Morning

7.00pm, Thursday 16 February 1967 (43 years ago)

Studio Three, EMI Studios, Abbey Road
Producer: George Martin
Engineer: Geoff Emerick

The Beatles left their usual surroundings of Studio Two for the smaller Studio Three for this session, which saw vocals and bass guitar overdubbed onto the rhythm track of Good Morning Good Morning.

The group had begun recording the song on 8 February 1967, before turning their attentions to the completion of A Day In The Life.

The results of this session, which lasted from 7pm-1.45am, can be heard on 1996's Anthology 2. Following the recording of the overdubs, a reduction mix was made, with music on one track and vocals on another.

This allowed for further overdubs to be added. A mono mix was made at the end of the session, to enable George Martin to score the song for brass instruments. These were added on 13 March

Cool stuff Fred. Wonder if Wayne would pay me large for a gift for his lil brotherwink I know there is a lot of people look for cars built the same day as their birth. I know I was born 2 months early ( June 8th 56 ) to fine that 57 Chev out there built on the same day.

Gotta love the dashboards on those '67 full size Chevy's.

70 SS ACADIAN what is the story on your Caprice?
Spill the beans buddy, looks super interesting.

All this Impala SS vs. 427SS stuff is a ton of fun 44 years after the fact!

This is the US 67 chev brochure. The CDN brochure has many little changes from the US version. I have both the CDN and US ones and the CDN brochure makes absolutely no mention what so ever of the ''SPECIAL identification/performance package (SS427 package) anywhere. The CDN brochure even removed the picture of the front end of the 67 SS427. So was the Z24 rpo available in canada in 67?? There were 67 SS427's built in canada for US sale but so far never heard of a 67 SS427 built and sold new in Canada.

Only 2 67 427 B Pontiacs left? There's gotta be more out there, I know the first one on your list of Ricks was wrecked out too. I would love to see some pics and docs on the other car too.

The gold 67 Impala SS 427 is back in Canada again. Resides in Ontario in large collection of cars. The previous owner didn't call it Canadian gold for nothing. Super nice original car.

Fun times. I forget exactly what the criteria was but the year I went I hit some kind of objectives and abut 1/2 my trip was paid for by GM. That made my boss happy!

First Chevy of the 80's remember the commercial ! January 1979
