glasspack------------in sound----------------great and mean (weird coming from a '64 car) but where can i find the original rubber attachments for the exhaust, 3 of my original ones broke (i guess 46 years is not so bad) while taking them apart

Do you mean the hangers with the rubber piece on them. There are generic hangers at Crappy Tire that I fixed-up to work ... otherwise '64 Impala.

I have some free glasspacks and elcamino tail and headpipes for a 66 if anyone wants them. I'd go with flowmaster 40's for that deep rumble or 50's if you want it a little quieter.
Reviving an old thread here from a couple of years ago. Looking to replace the tired exhaust on the 327. I do like an aggresive sound but I'm thinking I may have to take into consideration that the ragtop factor. Any thoughts?...

I put chamber pipe in place of my stock mufflers. The pipe was used for side pipes on 67 Corvettes. The install is on my ROAD TRIP post. They helped the 327 come to life and the sound through the gears puts a smile on anyone who rides in my 64cs. Brian
