If you're feeling lonely You can come with me Feel my arms around you Lay beside the sea We will think of something to do Do it 'til it's perfect for you And for me too You can come with me
So leave your world behind you You can come with me Sing a song I'll teach you Live your fantasy Love ya in a natural way Doesn't matter what time of day You and I play You can come with me
Won'tchya come with me
You can come with me
I remember these lyrics plain as day because we bought my Mum a gag gift of "Don Ho's Greatest Hits" for her birthday one year but the joke was on US! She loved it! He sang this song on the album of course along with "Tiny Bubbles"! YIKES MAN!

NO NO NO!! It was NA NA NA NA NA NAAAAA NOT PA PA PA PA PA PAAAAA!!! SHEESH!! LOL! Besides still liking all the old programs I grew up with; Streets of San Francisco, Starsky & Hutch, and countless others, it's always neat to watch these old series to see the cars in the background. Even with today's programs, I'm always looking in the background just to see if any old cars are kickin' around. And who could forget Baretta? "I love ya brother, but I'm gonna have ta arrest ya anyways." Don't get any cornier than that! Fred should have been the star of that show.

I used to watch it all the time when it was current. The acting and story lines were weak, but the scenery and the cars were great. I may get the dvd too.
the original show aired for 12 seasons, 1968 - 1980. Initially, Hawaii was like a far away land, and you only knew a few people who'd actually been there.
I too watched the new series last night and have to say it's AS PATHETIC as Bay Watch and CSI Miami!! What a bunch of TRIPE MAN! Definitely WON'T waste another hour watching that BARF! Now, should I tell yuz how I "REALLY" feel?
Some time ago I came across a web site whose sole purpose was to document what cars were seen in what scenes in what episodes of Hawaii 5-O. I don't know where to find it now.

I saw the show. The new Steve McGarret is trying to track down his fathers killers (his father get shot at the beginning of the show). While in his fathers garage, he uncovers his fathers car, and it's a big black Merc from the late 60's, early 70's. They only show it for a few seconds, and he only uncovers the front right corner. I guess that was their attempt to bridge back to the original show.
Hula hula huuuuuuuuu-laaaaaaaaaa Hula hula laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hula hula huuuuuuuuu-laaaaaaaaaa Hula hula laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hooooo la hu la hu la hoo hoo laaaa Hula hula laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa etc.
Dave, who lived in Hawaii for several years and therefore should know the real deal, eh? Eh??? EH!!!!!???
