I come across iron every now and then but hold back because I worry about trespass laws / chainsaw wielding mountain men (with eyes set too far back andwell into the temples). Do you guys sneak into these fields to get the shots...or do you know the owners? How far does a committed poncho wannabe have to go? I saw something under a tarp today...i could just make out the rallye wheels underneath...It might have been a Galaxie (yuck) but I couldn't be sure. I had to resist pulling over and looking under the tarp. How would I explain myself if I got caught?
I'm not being an a**hole writing this. I'm serious. Are you fence jumpers? How the hell do you get these photos?
Help me out here.
P.S. Nearly three days without tar and nic. Starting to get jumpy.
Most of the fields, such as this one, was assisted. It was one of the members friends. As for the others, I would say 95% is permissed and others are friends/friends of with the remaining 3% being accessed.
But you have to remember, a lot of these cars are in abondoned fields and a picture is not creating harm!! No, I should not be trespassing but generally people here in Saskatchewan are passive and understand what I am doing when I explain to them. They can see that I have just a camera in hand and the only thing I am taking is a picture!!
Now, that being said, I do not take anything with out finding out who the owner is/are and I do not open anyones drivable car hood if it is in their backyard or under a tarp without permission either! Just like my own vehicles!!!
But to the average person, lots of the cars are scrap and most are more than than ok if you want to take a picture or get it out of their yard for few bucks if they want to get rid of it...

Thanks for that! I'm still gonna look under that tarp on the way home from work tonight.
i notice this one had the Special paint 2 -tone that goes down the quarter and trunk lid that usually was on the 2door hardtp and ragtops, other than just the roof.

We will have to get cheviac to chime in on this one..... He knows more of its story than I learned of yesterday......... But, amazingly, it has sat here not running for about 3 years in this spot and yesterday we started it right up.... Talk about an awesome battery!!!!
