64 Beaumont-rear end gears


I have a 1964 Beaumont Deluxe.Just wondering if anyone would know what rear gears would be in from the factory. Im running a 350 from and 86 Z28 and its a 10 bolt raer end. I want to go to a higher gear but Im not sure whats in there now.

They were pretty much always 3.08:1. Occasionally they came with 3.36:1 as an option with 3-speed manual cars.

There are markings on the passenger side of the diff to identify your axle ratio as long as it has never been changed.  See the below diagram for location. If you can find these markings . You can identify the ratio.
