1967 Beaumont Horn Button wanted

My horn button has a slight flaw, It appears to be just the glass that is damaged, but when looking for a replacement, none look like mine. Maybe mine was replaced in the past? This is one one ebay, (advertised as 66  67 beaumont) looks nothing like mine. I am at work, and dont have a pic of mine, but its glass top with red arrowhead and I believe it has the word pontiac.

I dont see 68sd's pic for some reason, at home or at work.  The pic below is mine, it looks like the glass is shattered. It looks WAY worse in the pic, the glare must have magnified on the cracks. I havent had it off, but looks like the emblem underneath is great. My Beaumont is a Custom, thanks for the help.

That button, depending on the size, looks like the button for the base wheel on the base Beaumont & Canadian Chevelle 300. The chrome edge throws me though; I remember them being light gray plastic.

The horn button is apparently different on the U.S. Chevelle 300.

I'll address the 1966 horn buttons first. Attached below are a series of horn buttons.

In order: 66 Chevelle (all Canadian series, all U.S series EXCEPT base 300); base 1966 base 300 (U.S. only); 1966 Beaumont (all series)

Now for the 1967 horn buttons.

From the left we have: 1967 Chevelle 300 & 300 Deluxe (U.S. style); 1968 base 300 (U.S. style, identical to the U.S. 1967 wheel); 1967 Beaumont (Custom & Sport Deluxe, also base with option N30); Malibu, also 300s with N30; SS396 & Malibu SS.

This one may actually be a legit base Beaumont & Canadian Chevelle 300 button for 1967. They are very rarely seen. I haven't seen one in about 20 years!

I've got one of the above 'solid ' horn buttons on my wall. it is my understanding that it was from a base model 67 Beaumont.

That looks identical to the one that 62Beaumont got from me. I think it came off a base model 67 Canadian Nova.

Correct!

The novas had them too.  They are base model 67 "beaumont" and also 67 chevelle 300.  All had them.  I had one on my base 67 sedan, and i had an extra that i sold on ebay 2 years ago.  They are basicly worthless, unless you have a 67 base car.
I think the one on ebay might be my old one, i know the guy tried to resell with no luck

Just a guess on my part as I'm not sure what it's from but...as it's only a two spoke it may be a '66.  (And for the record, '66 and '67 Beau horn buttons are not interchangeable.)
Re any "external" blemishes to the clear plastic, I've had very good luck using the plastic head light restoration process to really make them sparkle!

Thx for posting all of these.  (Is that last '66 one from the 396 3 speed that was recently sold out west?)

I had a nice button with minimal cracking but the chrome was poor. I took the emblem out and installed it in a nice chevelle button chrome surround I found. It turned out nice. I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has had the cracks repaired in the plastic part of the emblem and how they did it. This is the 67 custom or sd horn button.

Good eye! Yes, that is the one. It was sold? What a stunning survivor. I've never heard of another Beaumont with a 396 3-speed manual.
