I think Jeff is doing a mild custom. The roof rack is going and I think the door handles are getting shaved. The big chrome rocker trim unique to the Bonne is staying. The colour will match our friend Andy's Willy's gasser. It will serve as a cool tow car. Now if only Jeff would stop working on the derby cars and get to work on this one! ;)
Jeff mentioned to me that the roof was going to be silver metalic, over the green lower. Don't know if plans have changed. We know it will be large on the cool factor.

You are right Todd im also going to do something with the hood not shure but some kind of scoop or louver, im going to restore the period correct key stone daisy's I have with white wall tires. Also alot of detail custom touches like rounding the door corners, and just cleaning up all the edges, maybe a frenched attena, and some cool tail lights. Im pretty much giving Andy the green light to do what ever he wants as long as its period correct. Im going to put the name of Andys Gasser on the side windows the same as he is putting on his car, we want them to match and try and get them in a magazine shoot, im a big dreamer but waht the hell you only live once. I could find the original 428 I would restore it to factory specs. but since it will never be numbers matching Im just going to have fun with it, hey at least imm not going to derby it and trust me it would make a great derby car!LOL
I'm excited too, I feel a special affection to that car and was so happy it could be given a good life. As far as I know the next time I see it it will have a 428 Pontiac between the fenders, at least thats what the grille says is in there.

Well the paint showed up to day, I will post pics of Andy's Willy's next week so you can see what the colour looks like on a car. Actually Andy's car is going to be ready for the car show at the international center in T.O I was suppose to go with him for the weekend but I forgot I bought the wife tickets for Helix in woodstock.

x2 Buddy. Helix? Did you say Helix? Oh, man, I'm time warping!!!!!!
my father was the first drummer for helix when they first started out, and my brother Brian is named after the singer. My brothers mom (we have the same father, different mother) and the singer were good friends.
Sorry, got off topic. Are you still doing the air bag setup Tiny??
