Selling my 1968 Plymouth Fury III

The Boy's New Cars 003.JPGThe Boy's New Cars 006.JPGfury 007.JPGfury 004.JPGfury 005.JPGfury 006.JPGI am putting my 1968 Plymouth Fury III four door, 225 slant six, automatic transmission up for sale.  The Manitoba safety expired in June of this year.  It is a very solid car which could be driven as is, or fixed up very easily.  Seats could use recovering, though the rips are all along seams.  I am asking $2500.00 firm, if you live in Manitoba, I will safety it for an additional $500.00, meaning $3000.00 firm.  The odometer reads 75,000 miles, and it could be actual miles by the condition of the car.

Neat car.  I had a '68 Fury III 2 dr ht with a 318 back in the late 80s that I used as a winter beater.  The poor car only had 13,000 miles on it but had sat outside in the unforgiving NS climate for too many years - it was very rusty.  It ran great and was a nice car to drive, though.  Really good in the snow, too!

Yours looks pretty nice and $2500 seems like a very reasonable price for it.  What items did it need for safety?

Also, I've always wondered what these big cars were like with a slant 6 in them?  The 318 worked surprisingly well, so I imagine the six would be adequate - but certainly not a quarter mile burner!

I haven't brought it it for a pre safety yet. Everything works, so I can't see it being much. It was safetied last June, and only had a couple thousand miles on it since. It cruises nicely in the city and on the highway, no spinning the tires unless it is very hot or wet out lol. Hardly uses gas for such a big car, and drives like a dream-must be the type of suspension. They dont make them like this anymore. Plus you can transport cars to the shows in the trunk :)

Pretty cool cruiser!  The rallye wheels look good on it too.  Good luck with the sale, I'm sure you should have no trouble selling it at that price.
